This group of applications is useful to specify and manage

• Functional Analysis: A simple classical structured analysis method based tool is available for functional analysis.
• Design Documentation: Design documents can be created and maintained, for instance Architecture Document, ICD, etc.
• Decisions Database: Systems engineering involves lots of decisions. It is important to record them over the life cycle, trace their origins, arguments which influenced a certain direction of thought and decision. They are recorded here in this specific application allowing the user to search them directly.

Design engineering is assisted by a template for the document. The template can be customized according to needs. The applications allow the user to maintain full traceability at this level or to upstream and downstream requirements, test documents.
